How Often Should a Longboat Key Pool Be Serviced in Summer?

None of these numbers stay stable on their own during a Florida summer. They drift constantly, and each one affects the others. That is precisely why consistent, scheduled testing is more valuable than reactive treatment.

Saltwater Pools: Same Schedule, Different Chemistry

Some homeowners assume that a saltwater pool requires less frequent service because it generates its own chlorine. This is a partial truth. A saltwater system produces chlorine continuously through electrolysis, which does reduce your dependence on added liquid chlorine or tablets. A pool that is well-balanced in early June and then left without service for two weeks during a hot, rainy July can easily go from clear to visibly green.
