This is the heart of what we do, and the reason most owners hire us: a clean, balanced, swim-ready pool every single week, without you thinking about it. What your pool needs through the seasons on the islands

A barrier-island pool doesn't need the same thing in January that it does in July. Here's how we adjust through the year - the kind of thing that separates a crew that knows coastal pools from one that just skims and leaves.

Spring

As the days warm and snowbird owners head back, pools wake up. We open up seasonal pools, rebalance water that's drifted over a quiet winter, and check equipment before the heavy-use months. It's also the best time to knock out a resurface or tile clean, before the summer heat and afternoon storms arrive.

Summer

The hardest season here. Intense sun burns off chlorine fast, daily storms dump debris and rainwater that throws off chemistry, and warm water invites algae. We watch levels closely, brush and clean more aggressively, and stay on top of the salt system - this is when a skipped week turns a clear pool green. It's also hurricane season, so we handle storm prep and any green-to-clean cleanup afterward.

Fall

The storms ease and the heat backs off, but the water's still warm and active, so we keep chemistry tight. It's a good stretch to catch up on any equipment that struggled through summer - a pump or heater that's been limping is better replaced now than in the middle of season. We also prep pools whose owners are about to leave for the winter.

Winter

Our mild winters mean pools rarely close, but many owners are away, so this is prime "watch it while I'm gone" season. Cooler water is easier to keep balanced, so we dial service to what the pool actually needs and keep a close eye on the equipment - you fly back to clear water, not a surprise.

Common questions about our pool services

Do I need to be home for weekly service?

No. We service your pool on the same day each week and you never need to be home. Most of our island owners are seasonal or busy, so we work around the outside of the house, let ourselves through a gate or lanai as arranged, and leave the pool swim-ready. If anything needs your attention, you'll hear from us.

Is there a long-term contract?

No contracts. Weekly service is month-to-month - you stay because the pool stays perfect, not because you're locked in. You can pause for the off-season or stop any time; we just ask for a heads-up so we can plan the route.

Do you handle saltwater pools as well as chlorine?

Yes - both. Saltwater systems are popular out here, and we maintain the salt cell, watch for the scale that hard coastal water causes, and keep the water balanced. Traditional chlorine pools get the same careful chemistry. Whichever you have, we test and balance it every visit.

How fast can you get a green pool clear again?

Most green-to-clean recoveries clear up within a few days to about a week, depending on how far gone the water is and the equipment's condition. We assess it first, give you an honest timeline before we start, then shock, filter, and rebalance until it's swim-ready - and we can switch you to weekly service so it stays that way.

What happens to my pool during storm season or while I'm away?

We keep looking after it. Before a storm we lower the level and secure loose equipment; afterward we handle the cleanup and any green-to-clean recovery. While you're away for the season, we tend the pool and keep an eye on the equipment, so you come back to clear water instead of a problem.
